Multiple sclerosis is a chronic illness that affects many millions of people in the US alone. This disease can be as bad as a life sentence. Multiple sclerosis works slowly yet steady and creates a havoc in the system in such a manner that you are unable to handle the situation unless you are taking proper medications from its early stages and you have to also face the difficult reality that there is no cure for this disease.
This is the true story of a patient of Multiple sclerosis who has gone through the painful stages of this disease and who is trying to help others that are less aware of the possibilities to be able to cope with the disease if they need to face it at all. He definitely hopes that you don’t really need to.
After being diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis, this gentleman, who had his own real estate business in Washington kept on working hard to keep up his work going. The doctors had advised him to take it easy and to avoid stress, however, he did not stop working and he even got himself a special scooter to go back and forth from his home and office when he started having problems walking.
Things did not go right after three years of struggle and eventually he had to sell my business and get on to social security disability options to be able to survive. Most of the decisions that he took at that time were done in a hurry and they did not give him what he could have got otherwise. However, the clock seemed to be going too fast and it seemed as if there was no time left to spare.
The prospects for a future were looking grimmer and the worst case scenario was that depression was also setting in as a compliment on the house from Multiple sclerosis. This gentleman was 53 years old, a father and a husband and the family depended on him for their survival. Making decisions for him seemed impossible and life was getting very complicated.
A friend of his suggested that he write a book. He did not have any problems with his hands, so he decided to write a book on the practical aspects of life and how to handle them. Thereafter, the lights went on and the writing of a manual which would help normal people cope with some of the most common and simple problems related to real estate opened up and it is now available on the net for those to read and enjoy.
This book was written in a novel style. However, perhaps the most important factor to be remembered is that knowledge and understanding of life and its challenges can be the best way to handle them. If you have proper knowledge of diseases like Multiple sclerosis, then you are in the position to know what to expect and what are the changes that you need to have in your life as well.
