Deficiencies versus diseases

It is difficult to determine whether the diseases that are affecting so many people all over the world are creating deficiencies in our system, or whether it is because of these deficiencies that we are becoming more and sicker every day. For example, diseases like arthritis; dementia, diabetes and depression are very closely related to Omega 3 fatty acids and B vitamins.

It is also a very well known factor that Americans have the lowest intake diet of Omega 3 fatty acids. DHA is present in every cell of the human body and it is highly concentrated in the brain, the eyes and the heart. This is considered to be a very powerful tool to good health.

According to some very prominent doctors, the intake of Omega 3 fatty acids and vitamins reduces the severity of the disease to the extent that patients are able to reduce the intake of medications which will create adverse symptoms in the long run. An arthritis patient or a diabetic patient runs the risk of getting heart problems because of the medications that he needs to take regularly to control these diseases.

There is a lot of research going on at present to create a good combination of vitamins and supplements that will really work on a generalized manner to help people suffering from these diseases get some relief and try to avoid any further complications due to drugs and medications. For example, Amini 3 is considered to be a very good product that combines the omega 3 fatty acids with vitamins B and folic acid. This product is not available over the counter and you will definitely need to consult your doctor to get a prescription for this medication.

There is no present research on the side effects of this medication, however, people that are suffering from some of the diseases related to deficiency of any of these supplements in the system, should definitely consult their doctors and try and get better knowledge of the present facts and what they should do besides taking supplements.

Diet plays a very important role in the natural absorption of these vitamins and fatty acids, and therefore, it is also important to find out which foods contain these Omega 3 acids and incorporate them in our daily diet to have better results. It is a very good idea to contact a nutritionist and get more information from them on this regard.
