Symptoms of Asperger’s disease

There is perhaps nothing as complicated as the human brain. And no matter what the research may say, however, it is almost impossible to understand even to this day as to how this mechanics actually functions. The brain has the capacity to give us great things in life, however, a malfunction in its system can also create a havoc that will be difficult to fix.
Asperger’s disorder or Asperger’s syndrome is a neurological disease that shows a different developmental process in an individual. There are many diseases that come under these categories and they include the autism, Rett’s syndrome, and the Childhood disintegrative syndrome. The symptoms of Asperger’s disease are very similar to those of Autism and they were first described by Dr. Hans Asperger in 1940 and it is also knows as a mild form of autism as the symptoms are more or less the same, however, they are milder in intensity.
One of the basic differences that you can see between autism and Asperger’s disease is that the child is able to communicate properly in the later where as children suffering from autism have a lot of communication problems because their cognitive development get badly affected. However, children suffering from Asperger’s disease do have problems with correlative social interaction and will find problems performing simple activities and their interests will be confused and unclear.
Most children that suffer from Autism have problems with understanding of the social norms and their levels of intelligence are very low, however Asperger’s patients are much more intelligent and although they find it difficult to fit in with the normal life, they still wish to understand it; the only problem is that they don’t know how to do it. Children suffering from Asperger’s disease will mainly be considered to be clumsy and they have problems handling things, so they may get in trouble when they keep dropping things and their parents don’t understand the reasons for this clumpishness.
Children suffering from Asperger’s disease will seem different and awkward to others, as they don’t seem to understand the simple norms of social life. They are not fully aware of what to expect, and their brains do not recognize the ability to create a normal social behavior which is understood by all. For example, they will avoid eye contact not because they feel uneasy about it, but because they don’t understand that this is a way of having a proper conversation.
Children suffering from Asperger’s disease do not have any speech problems and they seem to try to compensate for what they really lack with the way they communicate with others. They have a very strong sense of communication and they are also very extreme when it comes to activities that they like and the way that they want this to be done.
It has been seen that children suffering from Asperger’s disease do have problems as they grow older as the disease does deteriorate with time, however, these problems do allow the person to live a normal life. They will be considered people that are odd in a social structure and they will not really notice this because they themselves are very much caught up in their own world.
