Causes of Fatal diseases

There are many diseases that are affecting humans in very regular basis and some of them are increasing very badly and are becoming fatal. The five most common fatal diseases at the moment are heart attack, cancer, stroke, lung diseases and diabetes. The common factor about these diseases is free radicals and inflammation. Free radicals attack the cells in the body and create an unbalance which causes damage to the cell membrane. An inflammation is the body’s reaction to a problem in the system which is trying to protect, however, this does not function in the right manner with the free radicals and the unbalanced cells, and instead it aids in the infection and creates an adverse symptom.

Heart attacks and strokes have one thing in common. They are both related to the clotting of the blood in the arteries. The system is functioning perfectly fine, however the platelets which are designed to clot the blood in case there is a rupture in the arteries are actually creating the blockage itself.  When you are having a heart attack, it means that these clots are in arteries directly related to the flow of blood to your heart and in the case of a stroke; they are related to your brain.

In the case of a heart problem, the free radicals are creating a thick wall on the arteries by disrupting the blood cells and deforming them and making them sticky. This will create gradual blockage in the arteries and the blood supply to the heart will be disrupted.

Inflammation is not something that happens in the case of heart attack or stroke; however, there is an increase on the amount of people dying from illnesses related to inflammations. Cancer is the major killer every year. There has been a lot of breakthrough in the way cancer can be handled and there are some kinds of cancers that are being contained and reversed, however, there are new patterns emerging every day and liver cancers and thyroid cancers are becoming more common and powerful.

In the case of cancer, the free radicals attack your DNA. The DNA is the blue print for the cells. It is your identity. When the free radicals disrupt the DNA structure, then the new cells are confused and they become cancer cells. Inflammation is the way the system protects itself against illness. It acts as a protection to the body and to infections, however, the cancer cells begin to feed on the inflammation and therefore create a gateway to grow into a part of the body that is inflamed. There are more than 35 million Americans suffering from lung cancer.

The lungs play a very important role in our body systems. They don’t only allow the free and pure flow of oxygen which is vital to our existence; they also act as cleaners that get rid of all kinds of toxins and waste that may get into our bodies through the air we breathe. The lungs are working very hard to make sure that your body is healthy at all times and that the blood has the right amount of oxygen to function in the proper manner, and any kind of infection of the lungs can be considered a matter of emergency.

There are many types of lung diseases that are affecting people all over the world and most of those diseases always prove to be fatal for the patient.

Diabetes is another disease which is becoming very popular in the US and the main reason for this disease is obesity. Free radicals are also playing a very important role in the malfunctions of the digestive system and therefore, they also play a role in this disease.

Awareness and healthy lifestyle can definitely help in creating a platform for the future generation, where these diseases can be contained and handled properly.
