Types and Signs of Skin cancer

Skin cancer is turning more common in white races and patients who are more exposed to the sunlight. The UV rays are the one of the major culprits of this disease. However, the exact cause is not yet known. One million new cases are seen every year in US alone.
There are three base types of skin cancer. They are
- basal cell carcinoma,
- squamous cell carcinoma, and
- melanoma.
Of all the types of skin cancers to care for, basal cell carcinoma is the one that is most frequently came across. In addition to being seen most frequently, basal cell carcinoma is besides the most easygoing to diagnose and handle. A basal cell carcinoma could crop up just about anywhere on your skin, even so, they are most generally chanced on expanses that get a lot of sun.
Other factors Which Play an important role in development of Basal cell carcinoma are,
- Scaly skin,
- mend Bumps that do not disappear,
- exposed wounds that will not white speckles of skin that resemble scars,
- pink spots that might be crust like or pressed down in the middle.
Those that are at a bigger chance for acquiring basal cell carcinoma are those who get a lot of sun exposure, are fair skinned, males, genetic history and ones having weaker immune system.
Signs of squamous cell carcinoma include
- hard, red colored lump,
- crusty and scaly skin,
- raised red structures and
- unhealthy dirty looking skin.
The most harmful type of skin cancer is malignant melanoma. It affects the cells that are causative for skin pigment. It is most usually chanced on expanses exposed to the sun. Signs of melanoma include
- an abnormal shaped mole,
- suspicious moles that may be hard or bumpy,
- itching,
- exudation or bloody moles and
- pigmentation around a mole that seems to be spreading.
Persons more prone to develop melanoma have same susceptibility factors like that of squamous cell carcinoma.
