Every year, on the 24th of March, the world celebrates World Tuberculosis Day. It intends to foster public awareness about the global epidemic known as tuberculosis and the efforts to eradicate the disease.Tuberculosis or TB (or tubercles bacillus) is known to be widespread and there are instances of fatal contagious infection due to Mycobacterium tuberculosis in human beings.
The Importance of the World Cancer Day – 4th February
World Cancer Day is celebrated yearly on February 4th. Led by the International Union Against Cancer (IUAC), the day has become an excellent way to promote awareness of the disease and how people should strive harder to prevent it.
